This was a 5 day "batch", with referrals up to LID 12/19/05. Unfortunately, the latest trend in number of LIDs per month is decreasing (8 LIDs in November, 6 in December, and now 5 in January). The current backlog (until they get to us) is 560 days. Sigh.

In related news, one of the message boards for those of us with similar LIDs have started a secret buddy swap, where every two months we send each other a little something for our future children and their families. This month, our secret pal from England sent Jade a cute little shirt and drawer saches (which will really come in handy...I can imagine that shirt getting pretty stale over the next 4+ years!).
